TECTON has solid experience in designing industrial and public buildings in Hungary and Central-Eastern Europe. During our 23 years of practice, we have designed about 3.800.000 m2 of built areas and over 1000 buildings. We are first and foremost architects; our services are centered around our design activities in all of our projects. We believe old-fashioned craftsmanship combined with the latest technology is the best way to provide you with the quality you deserve.

TECTON can provide you with design-based turn-key engineering services. Up to ~ 30.000 m2, we are able to undertake “design-build” industrial projects. Our certified engineers and architects are ready to provide you with site management and project coordination services, as well. The integrated approach focuses on your peace of mind: our one-stop communication service concept ensures your full control over the construction process.

Before the design can start, you will need help in navigating the maze of local and EU regulations, avoiding costly dead-ends and unnecessary delays. We can help you find the right building site, and connect you with the authorities and local communities to speed up the permission process. Once the site work starts, we can offer supervision and quality control over the construction process. TECTON is ready to be your right adviser and right hand in your investment!

Project delivery options
Conventional process: Design-bid-build
According to the traditional project delivery system, the owner separately appoints an architect and a construction company. This delivery method produces a linear design process that results in a set of construction contract documents for the tender. The invited contractors submit fixed-price bids, out of which the lowest-bidding contractor is usually selected to build the project. The benefit of this method is that it is well-known and widely practiced, however, due to its sequential nature, it cannot deliver the fastest results. Furthermore, as the owner has to contract the parties separately, it cannot avoid acting as a mediator in case of disputes.
TECTON has participated in several projects delivered with this method and we are perfectly able to fit into such processes. Nevertheless, if you wish to have a quicker result, you may want to investigate the design-build process, as well.
Integrated fast-track process: Design-build
In this model by assigning one design-build entity a single point responsibility for Design and Construction is established. This method allows a large part of the activities to be done in parallel, without the need for lengthy handoffs between various parties. Therefore, the design-build process is particularly beneficial when the owner wants to speed up the construction process by avoiding extensive mediation between the designer and contractor. However, it can only work if the owner has confidence in a single entity’s ability to both design and construct the project.
TECTON has an extensive track record in this delivery method and by optimizing the process can deliver quick and reliable results. We recommend this method for you if you are looking for a fast-track and hassle-free construction process.

Our technology
The breathtaking speed of technological development stemming from the IT revolution thoroughly changed the landscape of all businesses. By now the BIM (Building Information Modeling) technology has matured and provides the construction industry with excellent tools that enable us to produce higher quality and extended range of services.
TECTON has fully embraced BIM technology; all our output is based on digital building models. However, while using these high-end tools, we do not relinquish our old-fashioned craftsmanship values as we are convinced that this is also necessary to provide the quality we strive for. We are ready to serve you on any of the main BIM platforms like Revit or Archicad and through this we can provide you with extended control over your construction project. Upon request, we can deliver a digital twin of your buildings for further utilization in the digital life-cycle management.
